Nummer zwei ist Major Lazers “Lazer Boom Mix”

Your favorite two-fingered mandude Diplo made a ridiculously ill sneak peek mixtape at the new Major Lazer record he and Switch have been cooking up in their alien Caribbean kitchen—it’s basically snippets in the mix of the entire album, which is awesome and features everyone from Vybz Kartel to Santigold to Ricky Blaze to Nina Sky, plus that ridiculous Black Flag sample, and the T-Pain autotune baby. Basically when we are kneeling by our bed praying to Jah, this album is what we are asking for. Can we die now? Cool except we don’t want to cause then we couldn’t listen to this record every single day. That sounded corny but we are not shy about our love… tell the world!

Und Nummer drei ist leider nur ein Tune des heute erschienenen Jamtech Foundation Albums “V-Rocket”

Big day today with the release of Jamtech Foundation’s new album on their own label Mad Viking. “V-Rocket” – alongside the new Toddla T album – is clearly in the run for album of the year. You should get your copy of the album today at iTunes or Beatport.

If you are in Stockholm tonight you should go to their release party at Berns 2.35:1. Doors open at 23.00.

Still not convinced, then we got a track from the album to change your mind.

Und dann gibts noch ne nachträgliche #4 von ManRecorder:

German rap label Aggro Berlin filed for bankruptcy last week. After years of representing the rough, rugged and raw of Berlin´s streets, Germanys notorious battle ship of rap is sinking, putting the final nail into the coffin what was once called “Deutscher Rap”. Founded in 2001 as an independent label, Aggro soon became a major force in the German rap business, with artists like Sido (wearing a MF Doom inspired mask) and Fler causing major debates in German media with their explicit sexist and violent raps. Mocking U.S. west coast rap attitude with German street talk, I never really took Aggro artists serious, yet some of the beats they released had a special kind of dopeness. At last, some of the rhymes by Aggro artists were so absurd, they were worth a good laugh.

For their last compilation, “Aggro Ansage 8” (“Aggro Shout Out Nr.8”), Aggro requested permission to license the instrumental of Seiji´s “Tudo Mundo”, which we released on Funk Mundial #4. The deal never worked out. So as a musical obituary we give you today the never released Aggro / Man Recordings collab:
